My toddler is not a philanthropist

He used to be.
On his first birthday he was feeding cake to anyone who would get within arm’s reach. Now… not so much. He’s swung a cool 180 degrees toward the “MINE, MINE, MINE” mentality. Make the mistake of actually giving him something (Mom’s cell phone for example) and it will be an all out WWIII to get it back.
All joking aside, I’m really looking forward to going on family charity/philanthropy outings together when he gets a little older. Toy drives, Second Harvest food bank, etc. I will have to do some research on the best events for small children and their parents. If anyone reading this page has any insight, I’d love to hear it!
